After high school, Lars joined the military services and completed the basic military service for nine months with Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) an infantry regiment belonging to the Danish army. After finishing his military service Lars decided that this wasn't what he was looking for and began seeking out something else. He then decided to study biology. Anette was employed by the military for over a year, returned from a juggler's class to show him how well she could juggle within just three days. Lars was happy about this and was eager to try it. So, he dropped out school and joined the juggler school. He also took classes in fire breathing and performing juggling. After that, he traveled with two of his friends as touring artists throughout Europe, where they performed on streets of cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. Then, two years later, he came in contact with a children's circus, where he also learned pantomime as well as street theater and children's theatre.
