Vinita Nair
She joined ABC News in July of 2004, and has since covered many subjects, including investigations like the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings close to Bailey, Colorado. Nair joined ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. In her new role she anchors live news coverage and news briefs for ABC's digital network. Nair also served as a co-anchor of World News Now, America This Morning as well as ABC's digital channel from September 17th, 2008 through February 18th the 18th of February. On both shows, she began her collaboration with Jeremy Hubbard. Later she was paired with Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear on Thursday 17 February 2011 the date for her final night the show's broadcast at World News Now would be the 18th of February, Friday. She would also have the day off as her last for ABC News. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor at KDVR Denver, was her direct successor. World News Now, February 18th, featured three tributes to Nair. Former and current colleagues appeared in the segments. In her last day she treated her entire crew to breakfast.
