Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She competes currently within the UFC Flyweight division. Shevchenko was forced to take a time off from MMA and devoted her time to kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her striking skills that were superior at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision following her first fight. Antonina has recovered from her defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko lost 1-2 during her subsequent three bouts she lost to Ariane Lipski before falling to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
